KC HiLiTES has been pioneering higher quality off-road lighting since 1970. Since the beginning, our involvement with motorsports has been critical to the process of designing, engineering and manufacturing the most advanced auxiliary lighting available. As the original manufacturer of off-road auxiliary lighting, KC HiLiTES not only set the standard for the category, we created it.
Our ideas spend a lot of time in the conceptual and designing stages before a light is prototyped. Once prototyped, the new unit is subjected to vibration, corrosion and moisture testing. Then we put them through the ultimate "real world" test by subjecting them to the extremes of professional off-road racing. Feedback from the racers helps us make sure our designs are headed in the right direction and worthy of bearing the KC name.
